Bitter & Twisted, Phoenix’s hot new restaurant downtown was a major hit for E&A members!! Of course fun was had by all – Where have you been recently that you can get meals that vary from a burger with lemon grass and black pepper crusted patty with a house pate’, shaved pickles, spring herbs and jalapeno mayo, or Fried chicken with cheese gravy and watermelon kimchi??? An appetizer that caught my eye was their “Popcorn”!! It consisted of butter, garlic, nori & shichimi spicy rice crackers. Their sweets menu had “Campfire Marshmallows”! Yummm! The food was served family style, so we all got to taste a bit of everyone else’s!
The food was good, location was awesome, good ambiance and great prices! The restaurant even had a menu for Booze & Beer to go!! This is definitely a place for us to revisit and try out some of their other menu items! Down the road they are putting together fun cocktail classes………….There’s an idea for a calendar event!!
